UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH ORGANIZES GUIDANCE SEMINAR ON SELF-DEVELOPMENT AND SELF-CONFIDENCE
The College of Administration and Economics, through its Educational Guidance and Psychological Counseling Unit, in cooperation with the Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah, organized a guidance seminar entitled "Self-Development and Self-Confidence."
The seminar aimed to equip participants with the psychological and practical tools to raise their self-confidence, transform fear of failure into a motivation for learning, and enhance communication skills and emotional intelligence to face challenges with resilience and flexibility.
The seminar, presented by lecturers Shahd Jassim Mohammed, Zahraa Abdul Hussein Thahir, and Zainab Abdul Khaliq Majeed, covered topics such as building personal identity, developing self-skills, recognizing strengths and weaknesses, overcoming negative thoughts, and managing emotions.
The seminar recommended continuing periodic self-assessment, surrounding oneself with a positive and supportive environment, and committing to continuous learning to enhance one's knowledge base.
