A HIGHER DIPLOMA RESEARCH AT BASRA UNIVERSITY DISCUSSES THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE TRAINING STRATEGY; A CASE STUDY AT THE OIL TRAINING INSTITUTE

 The higher diploma research (application of the training strategy was discussed as a case study at the Petroleum Training Institute in Basra) at the College of Business and Economics at the University of Basra.

 The research presented by the student (Suhad Salem Hadi) aims to determine the extent to which the strategy is applied in the training process at the Basra Oil Institute and to determine the nature of the problems and challenges that it faces, as well as how to benefit from the training process in raising the efficiency and skill of workers in the Institute and the oil companies.

 The research concluded that it is necessary to pay attention to the strategic analysis process in the Oil Training Institute, due to the weak integration of environmental changes in the testing of training programs, due to the reliance on ready-made training programs according to a routine annual plan.

 The researcher recommended that the higher management in the institute should emphasize the implementation of the training strategy to become a starting point for it in providing workers in the oil sector with the skills and capabilities that enable the achievement of strategic goals and the necessity of holding training courses on strategic planning to educate oil cadres about its importance and role in achieving the goals of the organizations The long run in an unstable changing environment.
