BASRA UNIVERSITY ORGANIZES AN INDICATIVE LECTURE (ON SOCIAL MEDIA SITES AND THEIR IMPACT ON THE INDIVIDUAL AND SOCIETY) ELECTRONICALLY:
The Educational Guidance and Psychological Guidance Division at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basra organized an electronic lecture on social media sites and their effects on the individual and society, with the participation of a group of employees and students.
The purpose of the lecture, which was given by Assist. Prof. Dr.  Radi Obaid Naghemesh, Supervisor of the Educational Guidance Division,and Mrs. Hawra Muhammad Jabr, to shed light on the role of institutions (the family, school, university) in educating students and activating the aspect of supervision over children from the dangers of addiction and dealing in a negative manner.
The lecture included an explanation on social media (positives, negatives) and the need to deal with it properly.
