
UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH INVESTIGATES THE IMPACT OF WORK SYSTEMS ON ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR.
A PhD. dissertation at the College of Administration and Economics, Department of Business Administration, examined the impact of high-commitment work systems and high-involvement work systems on positive and negative behavior through attitudes, proactive behavior, individual-organizational fit, and perceived organizational support as active variables. This study was conducted in private universities and colleges in Basrah.
The dissertation, presented by student Iman Fadel Ismail, aimed to analyze and measure the study variables, which are represented by the five dimensions of compensation, recruitment, testing, performance evaluation, training, and development, and individual relationships, along with the second variable, work systems.
The study included the application and distribution of a questionnaire and the collection of data using a logical design approach at private universities in Basrah Governorate.
The study concluded that there is a direct relationship and influence among the study variables. The results were interpreted and measured, and in light of these, a set of recommendations were presented.
