UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH ORGANIZES AN AWARENESS AND GUIDANCE WORKSHOP ENTITLED (THE ROLE OF EDUCATIONAL GUIDANCE IN DEVELOPING UNIVERSITY STUDENT SKILLS)
The Educational Guidance and Psychological Guidance Unit at the College of Administration and Economics, in cooperation with the Educational Guidance and Psychological Guidance Center at the Presidency of the University of Basrah, organized an educational and guidance workshop entitled (The Role of Educational Guidance in Developing the Skills of the University Student) on Tuesday 8/10/2024
The workshop, which was lectured by the Director of the Psychological Counseling Center at the Presidency of the University of Basrah (Assis. Prof. Dr. Khawla Hassan Hamoud), included the role of educational guidance in terms of implementing the study plan and time management to achieve methods of success
The workshop aimed to raise the student’s capabilities, support self-confidence, and enhance the concept of the psychological and educational guidance system for the student
In conclusion, the workshop recommended helping the student discover his academic abilities and potential, assisting him in designing his study plan and choosing the appropriate one, achieving the graduation requirements, helping him overcome any difficulties that may hinder his academic path, and also helping him adapt to his academic and social environment.
