A MASTER'S THESIS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH DISCUSSES THE IMPACT OF LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT ON IMPROVING THE OVERALL PERFORMANCE OF SEAPORTS THROUGH THE MEDIATING ROLE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY:
On Sunday 26/3/2023 the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah discussed a master's thesis in business administration on (the impact of logistical management on improving the overall performance of seaports through the mediating role of information technology).
The researcher's thesis (Ali Shubar Ahmed) aims to test the direct impact relationship between logistics management and improve the overall performance of seaports, and test the direct impact relationship between logistics management and information technology, in addition to examining the direct impact relationship between information technology and improving the overall performance of seaports.
The thesis recommended working on the development of administrative and maritime cadres working with high effort, and this is done through the development of cadres through reviewing the latest developments in Arab and international ports and the focus and attention of researchers on the variables of the current study to address weaknesses and dilemmas in the General Company for Iraqi Ports and the General Company for Maritime Transport  It also recommended harmonizing the ports of neighboring countries in terms of planning and modernity in order to develop the ports as soon as possible.
