A MASTER'S THESIS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH DISCUSSES THE USE OF MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING TECHNIQUES IN SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED PROJECTS AND APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
On Wednesday 22/3/2023 the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah discussed a master's thesis in accounting on (the use of management accounting techniques in small and medium-sized projects and the requirements for their application) - a study on a sample of projects in the industry and service sector in Basrah Governorate.
The researcher's thesis (Zein El-Din Mohamed Hassan Makki) aims to identify the reality of the use of management accounting techniques in small and medium-sized projects and to determine the requirements for their application, as well as the application of break-even analysis and the target cost in the hanging gardens project for water production.
The researcher concluded that small and medium-sized projects are progressing in a low way in traditional management accounting techniques, and that modern technologies are still far from being used, in addition to that the structural and environmental requirements facilitate the process of using management accounting techniques in small and medium-sized projects.
