The boat of Naseem Al-Basrah that affiliated to the University of Basrah was opened to 25 Gulf guests and visitors, Iraqis and Arabs.
The President of the University of Basrah Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, stated that (Naseem al-Basrah) is a scientific center for conducting research related to marine research. It has been developed to contain scientific laboratories and also contains equipment for analysis and electronic microscopes as well as other laboratory materials. It has been legally returned since 2014 to the University of Basrah. Dozens of researchers with higher degrees work in it.
Naseem Al-Basrah is considered a presidential boat with a length of 82 meters and contains a presidential suite, dining and sleeping rooms, as well as 17 guest rooms, 18 cabins for the crew, a medical clinic, as well as a golden-edged bathroom.
