The University OF Basrah Organizes a Humanitarian Campaign to donate Blood:

On Monday 19/12/2022, the Deanship of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah organized a blood donation campaign at the Bab Al-Zubair Colleges site under the supervision of the Student Activities Unit, the Counseling and Psychological Guidance Unit, and the Office of the Scientific and Administrative Assistant Dean in the College of Administration and Economics, and in cooperation with the Blood Bank in the Basrah Health Department, a campaign  Donating blood to help cancer patients and patients with marine anemia, where a group of professors, students, college employees and the rest of the colleges’ affiliates participated in the Bab Al-Zubair Colleges website.

The campaign aims to save the lives of many cancer patients and marine anemia patients who need blood and contribute to improving the personal health of the donor as well as being a national initiative that develops the spirit of unlimited cooperation and brotherhood among the people of the same country.
And Prof. Dr. Hussein Musa Hussein, in charge of the Student Activities Unit, stated that the initiative came from the principle of humanitarian assistance and the spirit of citizenship enjoyed by the members of the College of Administration and Economics, indicating that this campaign has witnessed a great turnout by many of the members of the colleges of the site and that it will not be the last.
