THE DEAN OF THE COLLEGE OF ADMINISTRATION AND ECONOMICS PARTICIPATES IN THE MEETING OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC
The dean of the college Prof. Dr. Abd al-Hussein Tawfiq Shibli participated in the meeting of the presidents of universities of basrah and the deans of its colleges with the President of the Republic Dr. Abd al-Latif Jamal Rashid in the evening of Wednesday 7/12/2022.
The meeting was attended by the Governor of Basrah Eng. Asaad Al-Eidani, and a ministerial delegation that included the Minister of Health Dr. Salih Mahdi Al-Hasnawi, the Minister of Environment Mr. Nizar Muhammad Saeed, the Minister of Water Resources Mr. Awn Diab Abdullah, the Minister of Electricity Mr. Ziyad Ali Fadel, the Deputy Minister of Oil, Mr. Karim Hattab and a member of Parliament Dr. Aso Feridun.  .
The President of the Republic, in a speech he delivered, expressed his thanks and appreciation for the warm welcome and the extent of his great pleasure in visiting Basrah Governorate.
His Excellency praised the valuable achievements made by the universities of Basrah in various specializations, adding that his visit comes to see the conditions of the city and listen to the problems that its people suffer from, indicating that it is the duty of the government to work to overcome the difficulties and solve the problems facing the city.
