A MASTER’S THESIS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH DISCUSSES ELECTRONIC BANKING SERVICES AND THEIR IMPACT ON THE PROFITABILITY OF BANKS
 On Wednesday 16/11/2022 the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah discussed a master's thesis in the Department of Banking and Financial Sciences on (electronic banking services and their impact on the profitability of banks, a study of a sample of Iraqi banks for the period 2011-2021).
The researcher's thesis (Zainab Abd al-Khaliq Majeed) aims to explain the reality of electronic banking services and how they affect the profitability index, and to indicate the extent to which banks are able to provide advanced services and keep pace with global development, and to study the challenges facing those services.
The thesis concluded that the electronic banking services had a significant impact on the profitability indicators in the sample banks throughout the study period and in varying ways, although they went through unstable conditions during that period, whether in the political, security, economic or financial aspects.
