MASTER’S THESIS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH DISCUSSING ADAPTIVE CAPABILITIES IN NONPARAMETRIC REGRESSION
On Sunday 6/11/2022 the College of Administration and Economics at the University of basrah discussed a master’s thesis in the Department of Statistics on (Adaptive Capabilities in Nonparametric Regression with Practical Application)
The thesis of the researcher (Noor Salah Hassan) aims to find the adaptive capabilities in the nonparametric regression due to the efficiency and accuracy of the adaptive method in estimation when relying on the data
The study concluded, through the empirical side, that the best adaptive estimator was the adaptive local polynomial regression, and then the best estimate was applied to the real data on fires in Basrah Governorate.
