THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH LAUNCHES ELECTRONIC CORRESPONDENCE AND ARCHIVING SYSTEM: 
The University of Basrah launched the electronic correspondence and archiving system that works on the university's internal intranet through a workshop organized by the Information and Communications Technology Center for the postal and archiving units and divisions in all the university's formations.
The Director of the Information and Communication Technology Center at the university Prof. Kayan Abdul Aziz Al-Sebahi stated that usernames and passwords were distributed to all colleges and departments at the University of Basrah and instructed to implement the correspondence and electronic archiving system effectively and enter it into the service.
Al-Sebahi added as directed by the university president Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, we will be present at the university presidency as a cohabitation for a month to address all problems that may arise during the work of the system.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the University of Basrah have taken important and serious steps towards automation and electronic transformation through the intranet which enables its users to view the daily mail received from the presidency to colleges and centers and vice versa.
