THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH CONGRAGULATE THE UNIVERSITY’S MEMBERS ON THE NEW ACADEMIC YEAR
The President of the University of Basra, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, extends his warmest congratulations and blessings to the university’s teaching and career cadres and its dear students on the occasion of the start of the new academic year 2022-2023 and the commencement of the teaching staff.  
The President of the University addressed the cadres and students, saying, “I extend to you a fragrant bouquet of congratulations on the new academic year, may God make it a year full of renewal and a promising future. Something innovative in order to make our children feel the importance of science and learning to achieve their ultimate goal. 
Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi praised the university's scientific achievements in the past year represented in the university's entry into international rankings, achieving advanced ranks and winning gold and silver medals at the level of the Asian continent, calling for the continuation of these exceptional and distinguished efforts.
