EDUCATION AND ITS PUBLIC AND PRIVATE UNIVERSITIES PARTICIPATE IN THE EXPO 2020 DUBAI
The Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research participated in the activities of (Expo 2020 Dubai) held in the United Arab Emirates.
The Iraqi delegation headed by the Department of Construction and Projects, included a number of directors and representatives of departments in the ministry, presidents and representatives of the universities of Mosul, Qadisiyah, Diyala, Northern Technology, Ninawah and Fallujah, and a group of heads and representatives of universities and deans of private colleges.
The participants reviewed the university infrastructure development projects and the investment horizons in the educational and service fields, including university educational hospital projects, the establishment of residential complexes and internal departments, the establishment of sports cities, central medical laboratories, a stem cell treatment center, and the establishment of specialized technological incubators, in addition to agricultural and livestock projects.
The Iraqi pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, which is dedicated to higher education and Iraqi universities for a period of (11-17 March), received intensive visits to see an overview of the landmarks of the cultural heritage in Iraq that were distributed in the corridors of the pavilion and to preview university projects presented to companies and visitors of different nationalities.
