A MASTER’S THESIS AT BASRA UNIVERSITY DISCUSSES THE ECONOMIC DIMENSIONS OF CRIMES IN IRAQ:

The master’s thesis discussed in economics at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basra (the economic dimensions of crimes in Iraq for the period 2003-2019).
The researcher's thesis ((Hussein Ali Muhalhal)) included the theoretical and preliminary framework for crimes, economic analysis of crimes in Iraq, and finally the reality of crimes in Iraq.
The thesis aims to shed light on the economic dimension of crimes in Iraq after 2003 as a cause and effect.

The thesis concluded that economic reasons are considered fundamental to the commission of most crimes, foremost among which are poverty, unemployment and low levels of wages.
