The seminar aimed to introduce first-year students to the importance of statistics and its fundamental role in artificial intelligence applications and modern data analysis. It also aimed to raise students' awareness of contemporary technologies and how to utilize statistical methods in building intelligent systems and making data-driven decisions.

The seminar, presented by Dr. Walid Miya Rudin and Lecturer Noor Ali Saigel, included an introduction to the concept of artificial intelligence and its relationship to statistics, an explanation of the importance of data in building intelligent systems, a simplified explanation of the fundamentals of data analysis and statistical forecasting, practical applications of artificial intelligence in daily life, and the role of statistical methods in developing modern technologies. The symposium recommended strengthening the practical aspect of statistics studies and linking it to modern technologies, while encouraging students to develop their skills in data analysis and artificial intelligence in line with the demands of the modern job market. It also emphasized the importance of continuing to hold workshops and training courses that contribute to developing students' scientific and technical skills, and supporting the use of modern tools and software in statistical analysis.
