BASRA UNIVERSITY DISCUSSES THE HIGHER DIPLOMA RESEARCH ((THE IMPACT OF SUCCESS FACTORS FOR OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND SAFETY PERFORMANCE: THE INTERACTIVE ROLE OF SAFETY KNOWLEDGE))
The higher diploma in Business Administration discussed ((the impact of success factors for occupational safety and safety performance, the interactive role of safety knowledge)) – An exploratory study of the opinions of a sample of employees in the southern Refineries Company.
The aim of research presented by the student (Alaa Dadel Makki) is to know the level of safety performance in the southern Refineries Company and to know the nature of the relationship between safety success factors and safety performance and to test the interactive variable between safety success factors and safety performance.
The researcher concluded that the explanation of the problems faced by the employees of the southern Refineries Company was the weak knowledge requirements for safety and safety performance, the results of the statistical analysis also showed that there is a positive and strong impact relationship between the factors of safety success and safety performance.
The researcher recommended the necessity of early diagnosis of safety success factors to enhance and develop the performance of workers and the need to support the senior leadership to determine safety priorities, measure safety performance, and conduct training courses for employees of the Southern Refineries Company to improve the performance of workers and this leads to improving safety programs.
