University of Basra Holds a Workshop on Programmatic Accreditation:
Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Muhannad Jawad Al-Asadi, and under the direction of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Prof. Dr. Abdul-Hussein Tawfiq Shibli, a workshop on programmatic accreditation was held at the College of Administration and Economics. The workshop was delivered by Prof. Dr. Abdul-Karim Taher Yasser, Director of the Quality Assurance Department, and Prof. Dr. Ammar Salman, Head of the Quality Assurance Division. The workshop was attended by heads of the departments , department rapporteurs, the Director of the Quality Assurance Division, and a number of college staff. The workshop aimed to identify strengths and weaknesses for programmatic accreditation. The observations discussed in the workshop were taken into account, and efforts were made to follow up and complete all relevant requirements.
