University of Basrah students participate in the central graduation ceremony for Iraqi universities in the holy city of Karbala:
University of Basrah students participated in a distinguished event in the fifth central graduation ceremony for Iraqi university students, organized by the holy shrines of Imam Hussein and Al-Abbas in the holy city of Karbala. The ceremony was attended by a large number of officials and academics representing various Iraqi universities.
The ceremony was held in a solemn atmosphere in the corridors of Karbala, where the square between the two holy shrines witnessed a large gathering of thousands of graduating students from 64 Iraqi universities, expressing their joy at their graduation amidst an atmosphere of pride and honor.
The ceremony included a large student march that set out from the vicinity of the two holy shrines toward the square between the two holy shrines, where the flags of Iraqi universities were raised. Students chanted songs that embodied the spirit of national belonging and pride in academic achievement.
Participants praised the significant role of the Imam Hussein and Abbasid shrines in organizing this comprehensive national celebration, emphasizing that this annual initiative contributes to strengthening the spirit of unity among students and reflects the interest in education and young Iraqi talent.
