Two lecturers at the university of Basrah participate in an educational workshop on commercial profitability criteria in industrial projects:

Two lecturers in the Department of Economics at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah, Lect. Dr. Mazen Sultan Aziz and Asst. Lect. Sattar Jabara Karim, participated in an educational workshop on commercial profitability criteria in industrial projects.

The workshop included an introduction to accounting, initial capital, cost, and return on capital criteria. Annual fixed and variable returns, annual payback, the payback period criteria, and ways to ensure project success over its lifespan.

The workshop aims to highlight awareness of commercial criteria.
