The research, presented by student Adian Khalid Saad, aims to analyze the relationship between renewable energy and sustainable development indicators, assess the status of the Saudi economy, and the challenges of the transition to clean energy. It also offers recommendations for enhancing the role of renewable energy in achieving sustainable development.
The research concludes that sustainable development aims to improve everyone's lives and transform the world for the better. Sustainable development indicators are essential measuring tools by providing quantitative and qualitative data that help governments understand challenges and make decisions. Furthermore, Saudi Arabia possesses the second-largest natural resources in the world, with a total value of $35 trillion.
