A LECTURER AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH PARTICIPATES IN A COURSE TITLED "DATABASE MANAGEMENT SKILLS USING MICROSOFT ACCESS":
Assistant Professor Dr. Bahaa Abdul Razzaq Qasim Al-Amri, a lecturer in the Statistics Department at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah, participated in a course titled "Database Management Skills Using Microsoft Access" as part of the Skills Development Program for Fourth-Year Students and Graduates on Wednesday, 12/3/ 2025.
The course covered the basics of database design using Microsoft Access in two sections. The lecturer introduced Access, its features, and its uses, along with a practical example of designing a database and archiving data.
The course aimed to introduce database management programs, particularly Access, and how to design databases and their objects in Access.
Finally, the course recommended that students and graduates develop their skills in computer software, including database software, to support them in competing for future job opportunities.
