MASTER'S THESIS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH DISCUSSES (THE IMPACT OF GREEN MARINE LOGISTICS ACTIVITIES IN IMPROVING THE OPERATIONAL PERFORMANCE OF IRAQI OIL PORTS AND MARINE VESSELS OPERATING ON THEM THROUGH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ISO 14001: 2015)
A master's thesis in the Department of Business Administration at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah examined the impact of green marine logistics activities in improving the operational performance of Iraqi oil ports and marine vessels operating on them through the requirements of the Environmental Quality Management System (ISO 14001: 2015).
The researcher's thesis (Hassanin Shaker Lafta) aims to demonstrate the role of green maritime logistics in improving the operational performance of Iraqi oil ports and marine vessels affiliated with Basrah Oil Company, through the application of ISO 14001:2015 as an intermediate variable.
The study recommended promoting green investment, improving energy efficiency, reducing the use of fossil fuels to reduce harmful emissions, and integrating renewable energy. It also stressed the implementation of strong security strategies, such as cybersecurity, and management commitment to ISO 14001:2015 standards to achieve environmental sustainability and operational efficiency.
