THE DEAN OF THE COLLEGE OF ADMINISTRATION AND ECONOMICS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH CHAIRS A DISCUSSION COMMITTEE OF A MASTER'S THESIS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF KUFA
The Dean of the College of Administration and Economics Prof. Dr. Abdul Hussein Tawfiq Shibli, chaired a discussion committee on 2/20/2025 of a master thesis at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Kufa for the student (Shireen Taqi Faraj) entitled "The impact of optional accounting disclosure on the quality of financial reporting and its reflection on sustainable performance".
The thesis addressed the positive effects of optional disclosure on the company's performance and how it contributes to improving the performance of companies as well as how it affects the financial reporting process. The research sample was a group of commercial banks listed on the Iraq Stock Exchange.
At the end of the discussion, the thesis was approved as part of the requirements for obtaining a master's degree.
