UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH DISCUSSES THE ROLE OF BANKS IN ACHIEVING FINANCIAL STABILITY IN IRAQ:
A master's thesis in the Department of Banking and financial Sciences at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah discussed the role of banks in achieving financial stability - a case study of the Iraq Stock Exchange for the period 2013-2022.
The researcher's thesis (Aseel Talal Jawad) aims to clarify the relationship of commercial banks in achieving financial stability by adopting a set of financial indicators and ratios, in addition to preparing, analyzing and measuring data through stability tests, Cranger causality and unit root tests.
The thesis concluded that there is a direct relationship between the variables related to banks and the gross domestic product, with a positive relationship between the financial stability of banks and the general financial stability.
