A MASTER'S THESIS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH DISCUSSES THE ROLE OF SAFE MANAGEMENT IN DEVELOPING THE MARITIME TRANSPORT FLEET THROUGH THE MEDIATING VARIABLE OF CONTRACT MANAGEMENT

The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah discussed the role of safe management in developing the maritime transport fleet through the mediating variable of contract management - a survey study in the General Company for Maritime Transport.
The thesis of researcher Basil Muhammad Abbas aims to know the impact of safe maritime management in developing maritime transport for the research sample by mediating contract management.
The thesis concluded that there is a strong and significant relationship between contract management and the development of the maritime fleet, and it appears that there is a positive impact that can be achieved when improving operations management and the necessity of contracting and strengthening reward and incentive systems for the maritime crew in order to enhance their desire to achieve outstanding performance and enhance training and development programs by increasing investment in training and development programs for the maritime crew, with a focus on developing skills and raising the level of technical efficiency, as dedicated programs must be created that are consistent with the needs of fleet development.
