A MASTER'S THESIS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH DISCUSSES " EVALUATING THE ROLE OF FINANCIAL SAFETY INDICATORS IN PREDICTING FINANCIAL RISKS":
A master's thesis at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah, Department of banking and financial Sciences, discussed on Thursday 25/7/2024, "Evaluating the role of financial safety indicators in predicting financial risks for a sample of Iraqi banks listed on the Iraq Stock Exchange for the period 2010-2022"
The researcher's thesis (Haider Abdul Imam Fayez Al-Halfi) aims to evaluate and analyze the possibility of using financial safety indicators as precautionary methods to predict the risks to which Iraqi banks are exposed as a warning before they occur and manage them properly.
The thesis concluded that there are three indicators of financial safety, asset quality, liquidity, and the market sensitivity index, which are related to credit risks. In addition to the existence of a relationship between capital adequacy indicators, profitability, and sensitivity to market risks, and the existence of a relationship between the profitability index and the prediction of operational risks.
