THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH HOSTS A MEETING OF THE DEANS COMMITTEE OF COLLEGES OF ADMINISTRATION AND ECONOMICS IN IRAQ:
On Thursday 19/10/2023, the Deanship of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah hosted, in its meeting hall, the meeting of the Committee of Deans of the Colleges of Administration and Economics in Iraq. The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Deans Committee and the Dean of our college Prof. Dr. Abdul Hussein Tawfiq Shibli, in the presence of the deans of the colleges of administration and economics in Iraq.
The meeting discussed the requests submitted by some private colleges regarding opening departments of accounting and oil and gas economics in the college of economic sciences and the book, and took appropriate decisions regarding them. The meeting also discussed the book of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which stipulates adding a subject called Crimes of the Buried Resurrection to the bachelor’s curriculum. A proposal was also discussed. Al Ain University added the subject of artificial intelligence to the curriculum of one of the academic subjects in addition to other topics. Appropriate decisions have been taken regarding all the topics presented.
