TWO LECTURERS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH PARTICIPATE IN AN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE:
The two lecturers at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah lect. Adnan Habib Arouj Al-Hamidi and the assist. Lect. (Raed Abd Fahd Al-Saadoun), participated in the third international conference of Imam Al-Kadhim Government College in cooperation with Cambridge International journal, which was held in the hall of the High Commission for Human Rights in Diwaniyah Governorate on 20/9/2023
The participation included presenting a joint scientific research entitled ((Analysis of the phenomenon of tax evasion and informal activities in Iraq for the period. ((2010-2019).
The research aims to reach the most important reasons that lead to the spread of the phenomena of tax evasion and informal activities in Iraq and try to develop appropriate solutions for them, by describing these phenomena as a type of financial leakage from tax revenues that are used to supplement the state’s general budget and use them as one of the financial policy tools to address Economic imbalances, therefore, this phenomenon reduces the economic efficiency of financial policies if they are not addressed. .
