A MASTER'S THESIS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH DISCUSSES THE EVALUATION OF THE FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE OF IRAQI BANKS USING THE BANKOMETER MODEL
On Sunday 23/7/2023 the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah discussed a master's thesis in banking and financial sciences on ((Evaluating the financial performance of Iraqi banks using the BANKOMETER model)) - a study of a sample of banks listed in the Iraq Stock Exchange for the period 2010-2021.
The researcher's thesis (Sajjad Jawad Kazem) aims to evaluate the financial performance of Iraqi banks using the BANKOMETER model and to identify the concept and importance of this model and its constituent elements.
The thesis concluded the possibility of applying the BANKOMETER model as a suitable model for the Iraqi banking environment in evaluating performance so that it is supportive of the mission of the Central Bank of Iraq in its oversight and supervisory role over Iraqi banks.
