THE FLAG OF IMAM HUSSEIN FLUTTERS IN THE SKY OF THE COLLEGE OF ADMINISTRATION AND ECONOMICS
In an atmosphere of sadness, the Deanship of the College of Administration and Economics on Thursday, 20/7/2023, to raise the flag of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, marking the start of the holy month of Muharram for the year 1445 AH, and the season of sorrows began with the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (PBUH).
The participants presented the banner-raising ceremony to the esteemed Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Abdul-Hussein Tawfiq Shibli, and Dr. Talal Abdul-Imam Muhammad, Director of the Media and Government Communication Department at the Presidency of the University of Basrah.
The dean confirmed that this flag represents the flag of the free and the revolutionaries and a methodology that carries in its records many lessons and lessons urging everyone to abide by the footsteps of Imam Hussein (PBUH) and the principles that he embodied in the painful incident.
