Accounting seminar Under the title ((Quality audit and its effect in reducing financial corruption)):

The accounting of the department at the college of Administration and Economics – University of Basra has held its third annual seminar under the title ((Quality audit and its effect in the reducing financial corruption) ,Dr. Alaa Abdul Hussein run the seminar  a lecturer in the  accounting of the  and a number of researchers.

Pro. Mohsen Hamid Al-Hawi, the chartered accountant and the auditor,  provided In the search of the role auditor in reducing financial corruption, While Mr. Hussein Samir, Chairman of Industry and Dr. Mithaq Hashim, Chairman of the First Services in Federal Financial Control application study  for a sample of the Federal Financial control. Dr. Alaa Abd Al- Hussain explained that administrative and financial corruption is one of the biggest and most difficult problems facing societies, either developed or poor countries, It is a multi-shape includes cheating, fraud, bribery, influence and stealing public funds, tax evasion, money laundering, blackmail and others

At the end of the seminar, Dr. Abd al-Hussein Shibali, assistant Dean of the College for Administrative Affairs presented appropriate certificate  for the  researchers in the seminar, The seminar was attended by a number of academics and professionals in the field of audit and professors of the college of Administration and  Economics and a number of postgraduate and primary studies.
