THE DEAN OF THE COLLEGE HEADS A MINISTERIAL COMMITTEE TO EVALUATE THE SCIENTIFIC AND ACADEMIC REALITY IN COLLEGE OF SHATT AL-ARAB UNIVERSITY 
The Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Abd al-Hussein Tawfiq Shibli, chaired a ministerial committee with the membership of each of Prof. Dr. Hadi Abd al-Wahhab Abd al-Imam, Head of the Department of Business Administration, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Munther Jabbar Dagher, a lecturer in the Accounting Department, to assess the scientific and academic reality of the departments of administration and economics at college of Shatt al-Arab University on Monday 12/6/ 2023
Where the committee discussed with the Dean of Shatt Al-Arab College the reality of the classrooms, laboratories and the teaching staff and the extent to which the specialization of the teaching staff corresponds with the scientific departments. The committee also discussed the ratio of the number of teaching staff to the number of students, and to ensure that the ratio conforms to the standards set by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The committee will submit its report to the ministry during the next week.
 It is worth mentioning that Shatt Al-Arab University College is one of the private universities in Basrah Governorate, it was established in 1993 and includes several scientific departments, including the departments of accounting and business administration.
