THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH HONORS THE DEAN OF THE COLLEGE OF ADMINISTRATION AND ECONOMICS AT THE UNIVERSITY'S CELEBRATION OF ITS LEADING IRAQI UNIVERSITIES WITHIN THE CLASSIFICATION OF THE BRITISH TIMES INDEX:
The President of the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, honored Prof. Dr. Abd al-Hussein Tawfiq Shibli, Dean of the College, on Thursday 8/6/2023, in light of the university’s celebration of being ranked first in the list of Iraqi universities and the list of the best 400 universities around the world out of (1591) institutions Educational affiliated with the classification of the British Times Index as one of the personalities contributing to this achievement. 
Prof. Dr. Abdel-Hussein Tawfiq Shibli stated that this distinguished achievement could not have been achieved except through the concerted efforts of all university employees, starting from the president of the university and even the simplest employee or service worker, and that maintaining it places a great responsibility on the university through writing distinguished research and publishing them in the  global containers because maintaining success is often more difficult than success itself
It is worth noting that this is the third time that the University of Basrah has won the top of the British Times ranking, which is the international rankings for knowing the sobriety of higher education for universities around the world.
