A PHD DISSERTATION AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH DISCUSSES THE DESIGN OF AN EXPERT SYSTEM TO EVALUATE AND QUALIFY THE FINANCIAL EFFICIENCY OF COMPANIES EXECUTING GOVERNMENT CONTRACTS:
On Thursday 11/5/2023, the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah discussed a PhD dissertation in accounting on (Designing an expert system to evaluate and qualify the financial efficiency of companies executing government contracts) - an applied study in the Government Contracts Department in Basrah Governorate.
The researcher's dissertation (Jassim Duaij Duair) aims to design an expert system. Able to evaluate the financial efficiency of companies executing government contracts, using modern tools for financial analysis, as well as generalizing companies through other capabilities.
The dissertation concluded that the current proposed system can be used in evaluating companies and awarding bids, which will contribute to reducing project failure and thus preserving public money from waste.
