An initiative provided by the Economics of the Department coincides with the anniversary of the establishment of the University of Basra:

The Department of Economics provides a new and different initiative the student (Mahdi Nakhash Ajil) is one of the fourth year students/ oil –Evening  study, It is an entertaining offer entitled (Clowned Game) to donate to the children with cancer, where this initiative coincides with the joy of the University of Basra 51.

Dr. Nadwaa Helal Jodaa, head of the department, said this initiative reflects the real awareness of the students of the department and the basic role to be achieved by supporting an important slice of society and children with cancer, and this also reflects the community role urging by our university, explaining that this initiative was aimed at providing activity Synchronous with the joys of our university.
