The College of Administration and Economics opening its first spring festival with the Shopping Festival:

The Department of Banking and Financial Sciences in the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah opened under the auspices of the Dean of the College Prof. Dr. Abdul-Hussein Tawfiq Shibli, and under the direct supervision of Prof. Dr. Muntazer Al-Battat, Head of the Department on Tuesday 14/3/2023, the first Spring Festival in a shopping festival (bazaar) in Central Library Square.
The organizers of the festival emphasized that the aim of its establishment is to spread the culture of handicrafts and to encourage the national product and the creativity of the Iraqi workforce.
The shopping festival witnessed great popularity among students in its first day and included a display of various types of goods, foods, sweets, antiques, handicrafts, books, and display of beautiful paintings.
It is worth noting that the shopping festival will continue until Thursday, the sixteenth of this month.
