University of Basra discusses the search for higher diploma (crude oil pricing system exporting in Iraq for period from 2003-2016):

The Economics of the Department at the college of Administration and Economics at the University of Basra discussed the search for higher diploma (crude oil pricing system exporting  in Iraq for period from 2003-2016) - Study of the case of SOMO to student of the Higher Diploma – Alyaa Abdel Amir Ibrahim) by the supervision Dr. Shaaban Saddam Al- Emara.

The researcher was aimed at reaching that the prices selling in Iraq are similar prices for global prices after taking differences in the difference in the quality of oil according to the global classifications of the oils and reference prices approved by oil exporters, whether in OPEC or outside.

The researcher add that the problem is how the Iraqi oil exporting company (Somo) has been able to determine fair prices for Iraqi oil, achieving the highest revenue in the prevailing fluctuations in the oil market.
