A PhD DISSERTATION AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH DISCSSES THE ECONOMIC EFFECTS OF INSTITUTIONAL CORRUPTION ON THE INVESTMENT CLIMATE IN IRAQ FOR THE PERIOD (2004-2020)
On Wednesday 18/1/2023 the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah discussed PhD dissertation in the Department of Economics on (the economic effects of institutional corruption on the investment climate in Iraq for the period (2004-2020)).
The researcher's dissertation (Naji Sari Fares) aims to identify the phenomena of institutional corruption in Iraq, how to treat it, and what are the elements of the investment climate.
The dissertation recommended reducing the economic effects of institutional corruption through activating the role of integrity and activating the Penal Code in administrative institutions and monitoring the increase in spending on basic services in government institutions.
