A MASTER'S THESIS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH DISCUSSES EVALUATING THE EFFICIENCY OF THE ADVISORY ENVIRONMENT IN STABILIZING AND ATTRACTING FOREIGN INVESTMENT:
On Thursday 15/12/2022 the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah discussed a master's thesis in the Department of Banking and Financial Sciences on (Evaluating the efficiency of the advisory environment in stabilizing and attracting foreign investment) - a case study of the Iraqi economy for the period 2017-2021.
The researcher's thesis (Hiba Abbas Fadel) aims to know the degree of influence of the investment environment on attracting foreign investment through the use of economic indicators represented by the ease of doing business index and the index of economic freedom.
The thesis recommended working to improve the Iraqi investment environment by improving the political and economic situation and taking strict measures to reduce the phenomenon of financial corruption and developing strategies to improve infrastructure and others.
