Participation of a professor at the University of Basra at the Second International Conference of Science, Economic Resources and Development in Malaysia:
Dr. Raja Abdullah Al-Salem ,A lecturer in the Economics of Department at the college of Administration and Economy at the University of Basra, participated at the Second International Conference of Science, Economic Resources, Development and Development, which was held in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia for 16-17 /11/2019, by its research "Green economy is a road towards development Sustainable in Iraq for duration (2004-2019).
The conference aims to deploy the overall scientific studies to see the conference and to spread the culture of integration between economy and development in all its branches, within the ISI classification and the coordination of scientific efforts of educational institutions and other relevant parties in achieving knowledge and strategic integration between economic science and comprehensive development sciences as well as establishment Seminars and open workshops that will be branched on the conference and establish their programs in various universities and countries of the world to establish clear scientific rules for linking economy and development in terms of parallel strategies, tracking tracks and plans.
The Co-research included a discussion of the problem of increased emissions from industries based on non-renewable sources of energy, As well as "the effectiveness of threatened resources in a short time and then focused on how to minimize it and find alternative sources.
The researcher recommended that Iraq faces the shift towards green economy several challenges that are highlighted in rising the costs of this transformation, particularly for developing countries as well as a lack of resources, whether financial, human or technological, and long-term relationship between the green economy and sustainable development, At least there is at least a vector integration of the green economy to sustainable development.
