University of Basra organizes an electronic lecture about  Corona virus

College of Administration  and Economics at the University of Basra organized an electronic scientific lecture entitled "Corona imposes Demographic transformations in the world".

The discourse  was presented by the lecture  Nadia Ali Ayed, in the Statistical of the department, including  many of questions aimed of them clarify the point of view of the demography statistic of Corona.

Where the first question does the Corona impose Demographic transformations in the world and the answer to this question is that one of the clear signals indicate the impact of the disease more on a specific age group; It seems that the older is at risk, this gives the ability to predict what will be the consequences when the virus moves across different countries, given that one of the significant differences between the world is the age of ages in each country.

The second question was discussed in the possibility of demographics to help prevent the outbreak of the disease in the future?

The answer was one of the lenses provided by demographics is to realize the fact that we live in the growing aging of the growing population; Where the elderly population is increasingly suffering from challenges beginning with health systems and does not end in insurance files, and the method of epidemics is studied with the age of the population. Many countries are in a demographic transformation at present, where most of the deaths are translated from infectious diseases Chronic diseases, which will interact in an unpredictable ways with these species of the new Corona epidemics and the access of health system to critical stages and can be observed by monitoring the number of hospitals equipped in any country for the average age in that country and there are a large number of older people. To more family in hospitals, so societies, which include a large proportion of older costs or increasing requirements, however, meant a devastating effects of the country's economy.
