A HIGHER DIPLOMA RESEARCH AT BASRA UNIVERSITY DISCUSSES THE FACTORS THAT HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO THE SUCCESS OF PROJECTS IN IBN MAJID PUBLIC COMPANY:

 The higher diploma research discussed the factors that have contributed to the success of projects in Ibn Majid Public Company at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basra.

 The aim of the research presented by the student (Mohsen Karim Abdul Razzaq Karim) is to identify the factors that led to the success of projects in Ibn Majid Public Company and to generalize these factors to other companies operating in the environment of Basra Governorate in order to achieve success in projects.

 The research concluded that the factor of engaging the customer, the work team, supporting the senior management and benefiting from the experiences has a big role in the success of the projects in the company and also the benefit from the working foreign expertise had the important and decisive role in planning the projects in the most complete way.

 The researcher recommended the necessity of prior diagnosis of the critical success factors as they are the most influential than others, as well as relying on experiences and conducting tests continuously to get rid of obstacles and achieve success.
