A PhD DISSERTATION AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH DISCUSSES THE MEDIATING ROLE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND THE ORGANIZATIONAL AND INTERACTIVE STRUCTURE OF ORGANIZATIONAL IDENTITY IN THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LEADERSHIP STYLES AND ORGANIZATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS:
 On Sunday 21/8/2022 the College of Administration and Economics at the University of basrah discussed a PhD dissertation in the Department of Business Administration on (the mediating role of information technology and the organizational and interactive structure of organizational identity in the relationship between leadership styles and organizational effectiveness) - an applied study in the General Company for Ports of Iraq.
The dissertation of the researcher (Arafat Nasser Jassim Al-Yousef) aims to highlight the relationship between the variables five study, build a conceptual framework, increase knowledge of the five variables and apply them in the General Company for Ports of Iraq, and come up with recommendations that benefit the company in its future plans.
The dissertation concluded the emergence of different types of leadership styles in the General Company for Ports of Iraq, which is in the process of shifting towards electronic through changing its current structure by modernizing its departments and this resulted in little influence on the organizational identity and the need for further study and analysis.
