A MASTER’S THESIS AT THE UNIVERSITY of BASRAH DISCUSSES THE USE OF CLASSIC AND FUZZY NETWORK TEHNIQUES (PERT, GERT) IN PLANNING AND SCHEDULING PROJECTS WITH PRACTICAL APPLICATION
On Thursday 28/7/2022 the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah discussed a master’s thesis in the Department of Statistics on (the use of classic and fuzzy network techniques PERT, GERT in planning and scheduling projects with practical application)
The thesis of the researcher (Doaa Bashir Abbas) aims to implement the agenda of the oil well drilling process using the classic and ambiguous method, and to determine the best technique to address the causes of delays in the project implementation process, and to determine the time needed to implement and determine the possibility of implementation.
The thesis concluded that through the use of classical and ambiguous techniques, the expected time to complete the process of drilling oil wells was estimated by calculating the times of activities, whether they were inevitable or probable taking into account the activities that require repetition of their implementation.
