A MASTER’S THESIS AT THE UNIVERSITY of BASRAH DISCUSSES THE IMPACT OF THE LEVEL OF ACCOUNTING DISCLOSURE ON THE LIQUIDITY OF SECURITIES
On Sunday 3/7/2022 the college of administration and economics at The University of Basrah discussed a master’s thesis in the accounting department on (the impact of the level of accounting disclosure on the liquidity of securities)  
The thesis of the researcher (Faisal Abdul-Kazim Abdul-Wahed) aims to shed light on the knowledge of whether there is an impact of increasing the level of accounting disclosure on the level of liquidity of securities in the Iraqi environment, which has witnessed changes in the accounting regulatory environment for companies listed in the Iraq Stock Exchange.
The thesis concluded that there is a negative effect between the accounting disclosure and the trading volume as a measure of the liquidity of the securities, and it also concluded that there is a positive effect between the accounting disclosure and the zero return as a measure of the liquidity of the securities.
