The President of The University of Basrah, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi and his accompanying delegation discussed joint cooperation with the President of Kokushikan University in the Japanese capital Tokyo regarding the exchange of scientific and research experiences.
The delegation toured to see the reality of the university's educational, service and infrastructure, including halls, laboratories, museums, and various sports facilities.
During the meeting, the President of Basra University stated that our visit to Japan came for the sake of honor, as our university won the first and second ranks in the Oscars for Higher Education in Asia, and it is the only university in Iraq that achieves these ranks.
