A SCIENTIFIC STUDY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH INVESTIGATES (THE MEDIATING ROLE OF HUMAN RESOURCE CAPABILITIES IN THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HUMAN RESOURCE STRATEGIES AND ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE)
A scientific study at the University of Basrah prepared by prof. Dr. Wamid Abdel-Zahra Khudair at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah examined the impact of human resources capabilities between human resources strategies and organizational performance in Iraqi higher education institutions.
The study showed the study that was published in the journal (Educational Administration: Theory and Practice).
Classified within the scope of Scopus, human resources strategy has a positive and significant impact on human resources capabilities and organizational performance.
The results of the study found that human resources capabilities positively and significantly mediate the relationship between human resources strategies and organizational performance. This shows that dynamic skills play a mediating role in dynamic work situations. On the other hand, work settings are constantly changing, and as a result, successful organizations need not only to develop human resources, but also to develop dynamic skills to sense environmental conditions, learn interaction patterns, and reshape operating procedures.
