THE COLLEGE OF ADMINISTRATION AND ECONOMICS PARTICIPATES IN A MEETING BETWEEN BASRA UNIVERSITY, THE IRAQI PORTS AND THE MARITIME TRANSPORT COMPANY:
On Thursday 5/27/2021 the College of Administration and Economics at Basra University participated in the Basra University Council meeting with the Iraqi Ports Company and the Maritime Transport Company.
The meeting was chaired by the President of the University Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, Mr. Farhan Al-Fartousi Director of the General Company for Iraqi Ports, and Mr. Mohieddin Director of the Maritime Transport Company, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics Prof. Dr. Abdel-Hussein Tawfiq Shibli and the Administrative Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Naeem Sabah Jarrah and the Scientific Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed  Saddam and a number of deans of colleges and directors of centers.
The meeting included a discussion of cooperation mechanisms between the University of Basra, the Iraqi Ports Company and the Maritime Transport Company, and how to take advantage of the possibility of these companies supporting the University of Basra especially in the rehabilitation of (the university's yacht) and assisting the university in many supportive activities such as building halls for the College of Administration and Economics and equipping the college with some devices and others.
At the end of the meeting an agreement was reached on a set of joint cooperation mechanisms between Basra University, the Iraqi Ports Company and the Maritime Transport Company.
